Ellwood City Area School District
The Ellwood City Area School District is committed to providing students with a high quality education and to prepare them as responsible citizens in a continually changing world. In the search for excellence, every effort will be made to create conditions in which all students can learn. There are three elementary schools to accompany the junior/senior high school that comprise the Ellwood City Area School District. Over 900 students attend the Junior and Senior High School.Lincoln High School’s three-story facility contains two gymnasiums, science and technology laboratories, metal and wood shops, and arts and crafts facilities. The large cafeteria and commons area accompany the administrative offices near the main entrance to Lincoln High School.
High expectations have been established for students and staff to foster an enthusiasm for learning and the mastery of essential skills necessary to function effectively in the twenty-first century.
The education curriculum at Lincoln High School aims to provide an excellent, well rounded education to all students. Since a large majority of students continue their education beyond high school, a strong emphasis is placed on college preparation.
