Electric Department

The Borough of Ellwood City is one of 35 municipalities in Pennsylvania and 2,000 nationwide that own and operate their own electric distribution system.  Electric sales allow for a higher level of services from Police, Fire and Public Works departments with less impact to local taxes. The Borough provides electric service to over 4,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers and is responsible for all maintenance and upgrades to the distribution system, including traffic signals and street lighting.  To contact the Electric Department Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm, call 724-758-7777. For after hours issues, please call 724-752-1282.
