Borough Manager’s Office

The Borough Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Borough and is responsible to the whole of Council. The Manager’s powers and duties shall relate to the general management of all Borough business that is not expressly imposed or conferred by ordinance upon other Borough officers.

The Manager shall be responsible for and in charge of, but not limited to, Administration, Public Works, Wastewater Treatment, Electric Distribution, and all other matters and activities as may be directed by Council from time to time, except the Police Department.

Mayor’s Office

The mayor assumes full charge and control of the police department. This includes directing the time, place, and manner in which the officers perform their duties and enforcing ordinances via the police department. The mayor also administers oaths and affirmations for council members and has the authority to perform marriage ceremonies.
