Ellwood City To Close Some Public Parks & Rec Facilities

According to a release made available by the borough, Ellwood City will be closing some of its parks and recreational facility effective immediately.

According to the statement, the Borough of Ellwood City is closing some of its parks and recreational facilities to try to get in front of any potential community spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The basketball court and tennis courts in Ewing Park will be locked, the skateboard park and Kids’ Created Kingdom in Ewing Park are closed. Pittsburgh Circle Heritage Park, West End Playground, Stiefel Park, and Rolling Hills Playground are to be closed.

The rest of Ewing Park will still remain open.
